i only read my personal emails before 9. i feel better starting my day by deleting something. work emails are opened after that because usually there is a request or 2 contained in them

i say you schedule a meeting with all the punks who emailed you to "discuss" their grades. then you put them in their places face to face. these kids need to be knocked down a peg

oh, Heather. we need to get together and compare stories. I got several e-mails from this punk kid who 1. Called me Molly, TWICE and 2. never turned in his paper. He was at a borderline C to B grade and wanted to know if he could turn in his paper the DAY my grades were due! I put a kibosh on that. A few days later he writes me that same sad undergraduate e-mail, asking me if I could just take pity and bump his grade up. No can do buddy! Next time, learn your TA's name! GRRRR
