I'm glad you enjoyed it. You are not alone in your love of Katie fics. I think she works so well as a plot device to explore other characters through her thoughts. Plus, there's so much with Katie that was under the surface in s3 that we didn't get to see. It's fun being able to bring that out and to read other people's interpretations of what was going on with Katie internally all last series in addition to seeing how she views her relationship with Emily.

The twins' relationship is actually tied for my favorite relationship on the show with Naomily (of course). I just love them so much.

I had to ignore your usericon to read this seriously because Kat, Meg and Lily? Make me laugh so hard I can't see straight.

Nice twins character study. I particularly enjoy the fact that they reconnect at the end of the fic.

That is my favorite picture of the Trinity ever! I laugh every time I see it and it just constantly reminds me of why I love them so much.

The twins' relationship is definitely one of my muses. I psycho-analyze them to death; there's just so much there. What I really adore about them is that deep down they really do share that twin bond and care about each other more than anyone could ever comprehend. That was the driving force behind them reconnecting at the end so I'm glad you picked up on that.

Hopefully I shall have more fic written soon. I posted this in my journal the other day, but I would really like to write a companion piece to this involving Effy and Naomi, with Effy being used to hash out Naomi's feelings on the lake scene in the same way that I used Katie to show Emily's feelings.

Plus, Effy and Naomi have some of the best interactions in the whole show.

And I particularly love it when "Don't get fit, get Fitch" is used in relation to Naomi. Emily is more than willing to help her with both.
