I would sleep with the intent of never waking up,
You would save me from those never ending dreams.
I would take your hand, and we would drive away…Just drive, until we saw that sunset on the beach, and the stars in the sky flashing at us.
We would walk barefoot in the sand until we fell asleep on each other and wake up not knowing where we were.
I would tell you my secrets and give you my trust,
You would hug me until everything was alright.
We had something, but it soon disappeared.
You faded out of my life, and into a photo.
I hold my memories with me.
You showed me great honesty and love, but it broke apart
When I broke your smile…I broke your smile with that blood red bullet,
