You know what's funny?

When I knew less, I said more.

Granted, my current reticence has a lot to do with how busy I am. However, the above statement is still true.

Makes you wonder.

I think saying more when we know less is a common behavior, I mean think about it.. when you know more you know there's so much more to retain as well.

Sometimes I think when I knew less I was more intelligent.. I don't know how that makes any sense but it seems to.

I rememeber sitting down to talk with Ty Cannon, and he said "Chris, you're a nice guy and a hard worker, but you have the tendency to be arrogant and pretend to know more than you do. I know it's not the case because you're a humble guy, but you come across that way."

Good conversation.

Really, though, that was a first step in dropping the extraordinary bullshit facade I had going.

I think I will always spew a lot of junk (I mean independently of how much I know). It's pretty much my nature, unless I become a true expert at the topic *and* at thinking thoroughly before letting words escape my brain (which I mean to imply not allowing incorrect/bad statements out or, in short, incapable of being wrong). In which case I will just be spewing correct junk.

Happy day late birthday that I amazingly remembered because of when I was visiting you for your birthday in NYC and we got stuck in traffic because it was Cinco De Mayo just like in Seinfeld and I missed my train!

Wow, thanks! I didn't really expect anyone on lj to remember my birthday, since I haven't posted in months. Anyway, yeah, we had a little party down here, it was fun. Now I'm 26. Woo, or something!
