So today is Good Friday. My Father forced me to mass. And once there I had to sit and listen to these 2 old women infront of me and 2 behide me. All they were doing is gossiping. Then FINALLY mass started. It's Good Friday and all so things were a little different at first. But then we got to the gosel. Holy shit that seriously took 20-30 minutes.

well... i dont know anything much about christians, or catholics, or any religion. But what i do know is that I can never be part of any set religion because they are all huge hypocracys. Im probably very close to being atheist, but i wont declare that, because i dont know enough about anything to make a solid statement. But in my OPINION set religions are slightly dumb. But thats my opinion.

p.s i understand why you are pissed at your church though... the old ladies gossiping made me smile though, cause i can see that being like in 60 years, not in a church but at like bingo night or something at some club. :)

Wait. So you want priests to tell us how great we are.... even though we're gossiping in church, leaving early, just "pretending" to be holy, and "bearly ever listen" during like you said you do? You don't have a very good grasp on what the church is all about, then if you see it as just a chance to sit down and be yelled at for no reason. Some of us do good things; like actively protest abortion like you said. But the rest of us sit around on our asses and just vegitate in a pew once a week without getting anything out of the mass. And it has to change. Praising the minority in the face of the majority is pointless, because the majority isn't doing the right thing.

Anyway, hope that clarified things a bit. And I hope I didn't come off as too confrontational. *shrug* I hope you stop closing your mind to God soon. Laterrrr.

No no, I'm not saying those ladys are right for doing that. Yes they need that, but I mean can't they, every once in a while, tell us something positive? Oh well. And I'm not closing my mind to God. I do believe strong in God. I just don't understand some things in the church and I don't understand people.

You should try to open your mind up to what God teaches.
