dad is still in hospital. they operated on him on friday morning, and since then he's been recovering steadily. he's still hooked up to pulse/blood pressure measuring device, and has a drip, but he's doing much better. we've been visiting him twice daily. today we saw him during supper and he was sitting at a table and not having supper in bed. and
