today i came home and found a package.
imagine my surprise when i opened it and i found an 8.5 x 11 copy of my favorite picture EVER taken of me.
i had given it to steve.
now he's given it back.
no note. no explanation. just a picture.
we've been broken up for a year.

I know you are out there lurking around, sad and lonely. I feel sorry for you because all you can do at this point is lash out at one of the few people that truly saw you for what you are. She saw the hero that was inside of you; You saved her so many times. So, why are you now trying to reverse the progress she has made. Does this make the pain easier to deal with, knowing that although she will always love you and that you will hold that special place within her because of what you stood for, but now you are turning away one of your past biggest fans. She is happy, you should want that for her. She has always wanted that for you. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. If you guys never get back together -- there is a reason for everything. I hope you feel better.
