It sounds like such a nasty thing to say, but its not something directed at my fiance. Nope, I'm not angry with him at all. Things couldn't be better between us. The communication is better than it has ever been, we're communicating our problems across and solving them, and it feels great. Nope, its not the relationship I have the problem with

As an airline employee (just want to make that known so that you don't think I'm all odd for saying this), I have to say that I don't know a single airline that isn't feeling the crunch at the moment due to the rise rise rise of fuel prices. I know that my airline is testing new oils etc to try and run them instead of the fuel, but at the moment it has become really hard to make a profit. And yes, even though it sucks for us, they still have to make a profit, because they are still companies trying to keep afloat in business, pay their employees, expand their market etc etc

Oh and yeah. UK/New Zealand is a huge gap too, so it's pretty hard being down here. :( It costs a ton of money to fly over (even for me in the business) and then the exchange rate to even do anything there is nearly triple. It's bankrupting me to visit him at all.

Man, if it weren't hard enough for us, huh? it sucks that you have to push your trip back to afford it. I extended mine which is fantastic for time with him, but terrible for money. :(

Hang in there hon, we're really hoping that the oil testing goes well for the airlines involved and that things improve soon!!
