making up for lost time

When you see your beloved after a long absence, do you attempt to make up for lost time? Is that possible? What do you do?

When we were LD, he'd arrived on a Friday night and we'd hole up in the house for the weekend just enjoying each other's company and getting lots of take out. :)

I'm not completely sure it is possible to make up for lost time, but we do catch up on lost..affection :-) We do tend to either stay home & camp on the couch or go out a lot & do a million activities. Sometimes we do both.

Bedroom <.<....

Only joking...a little lol...we normally spent that first weekend being very lazy. We stay up all night talking. I've woken up plenty of times to find him sitting over me, stroking my hair. We just keep each other company, eat junk food, and do very little. Watch some TV, unpack my stuff. It all gets punctuated by huge cuddles and "I missed you"s. It can be a bit difficult. His parents aren't great with giving him privacy, nor is anyone else in the house -_- they just walk on in.......I'm not sure if you can totally make up for lost time, but we always end up glued to the hip for some time.
