i'll pay you at another time
HI GUYS it's me again. Because, you know, I start journaling when I'm bored.
Basically, I've been at my cousins' house lately. Lots of Rock Band. Was fun. Lotsa fun. Got to use a computer with sound and a webcam and a mic for a bit. I am back "home" now, but I think we'll be heading back over to my cousins' after school tomorrow. I think. I'm not sure if that's the exact plan, but I'm pretty sure it's something like that.
And, as mentioned in the last sentence... School starts tomorrow. I'm caught in a mix of "oh god I'm so scared" and "I am going to hate all of these people." I hope it turns out better than I am expecting.
Also must finish summer reading packet before next Friday. Got stuck on one question. I really, really wanted to go indepth with gender roles if I were there as a female in place of one of the male characters, etc, but by the time I'd finally started to collect my thoughts and was prepared to write on it, it had strayed too far from the original question. I finally ended up just answering the question assuming I was a male and not messing the whole thing up. I swear this is going to bother me for weeks, but I'll survive.
Have moved on and answered another question. Now I have to rewrite the ending of Lord of the Flies. First I have to decide how I want that to be, but I like rewriting endings. I did this with the Outsiders a few years ago. It was fun.
Not much else to say today. I guess I'll report back tomorrow after school and tell how it went, since everyone will probably be asking.
And also, fiery furnaces of rage and confusion. Just throwing that out there.
