While not unusual, it is a tad disappointing and really strange - when senior professionals constantly have to remind students to study/do this do that etc. Does the profession not motivate students enough to work hard ( Read more... )

mmms. sometimes i find i lose it in moments. that excitment, that drive, that desire. and then i remember convos like the one i had with you before i got a place in med, rmbing how i was wahhh-ing and excited hearing wad you were doing/learning & wishing i could too. wishing really hard cos it really was smth i could see myself doing & hoped i wld get to do.

but sometimes in studying etc, there comes that usual school stress typical thru our pri-jc education. of scrambling to studyyy. etc.

always glad when perspectives are right again & passion helps to motivate! :D

next time u're back we mustmustmust meet! i miss you, rmbing how you were ard last cny & we went to your house!

Yeah, it's so normal to get excited and really caught up when there's an inspiration and a dream. But then people and daily life remind me that the road to anything good or success is really so full of hard work and perseverance - I couldn't ever make it through without someone else's love.

Studying is one of the less interesting but very essential parts of it I guess.

It's funny, I quite like it when I'm in hospital, doing stuff, being there, part of the work. But during the holidays, I'm totally un-inspired and dead and usually feel like I just want the break to go on forever.

Oh well, let's pray our passion for medicine and helping others burns brighter!!!:D

I'll let you know earlier next time I'm back! :D I miss you guys , and CNY. The first CNY I'm having away from my family. I didn't expect myself to feel so down. But I think I am, especially here in Aus, where alot of people don't. :(
