YULETIDE
first of all let me preface this by saying first and foremost, SORRY I SUCK i've been meaning to write this letter for ages and the bottom line is that i am lazy so. deepest apologies. also THANK YOU for writing me something! i am very excited. and now, without further ado!
some general things i like: i love character development, friendship fic (genfic is great!), UST, making out, banter, boys being inarticulate about their feelings, domesticity, adventure, tropes and cliches. hit me with them. go ham. i think generally speaking i would like something with a happy ending- give me all the angst and/or ust you desire in the beginning and middle, but i would love a happy ending. i like strong female leads. sex is great; not sex is great too. i am not picky. i like crazy AUs as much as i like strictly canon, so if you have a great AU idea please do not feel restricted! go for it!
some general things i dislike: noncon, dubcon, extreme violence, misogyny, homophobia, character death, PWP, mpreg. also high school AU (i know, but it's the one trope/cliche/au that i really can't stand).
some specifics!
women's soccer RPF: kelley o'hara, hope solo, amy rodriguez
i love the ladyballers. i love women's soccer. so really feel free to write anything. feel free to include all of these ladies or just one. feel free to pull in any other ladyballer pretty much ever, and i can almost guarantee that i will love it. kelley o'hara right now is one of my favorite human beings. i would LOVE to read fic about her at stanford, present day as an assistant and an enormous legacy and having to bridge the awkwardness between having been teammates with some of the girls she now coaches, or fic about her as a player (give me fic about what kind of drive a girl has to have to win the honda award and i will love you forever). hope solo i find kind of ridiculous in the best way and would love meta about her twitter. as for a-rod i would really love some type of exploration of how her role on the team has changed and been largely usurped by alex morgan? but if that's not your thing, no worries. if you are inclined to put in match details or stats or anything along those lines, please do! i love soccer. detailed descriptions of games get me going.
elementary: joan watson, sherlock holmes
give me all of the watson-centric fic you can think of. talk to me about her being a sober companion and what that entails. talk to me about her decision to tell gregson about her situation with holmes. have her go on some iffy blind dates and then come home to tell holmes about it. my only real request from this fandom is that it isn't overtly romantic. i want friendship fic of these two. give me that and i will be a happy woman. (also, i highly encourage case-fic, if you are so inclined!)
friday night lights: tim riggins, lyla garrity, matt saracen, julie taylor
any or all of these four. feel free to also include coach taylor. i would love lyla at college. i would love an AU when tim stuck it out and played college ball (at UTSA or elsewhere- maybe a vanderbilt au, as unlikely as that may be, of him and lyla. go crazy!), or i would really really adore future!fic of tim coaching somewhere, sometime. (also for the record i love the tim and billy dynamic so feel free to drop that in somewhere). as for matt and julie, i would really like some type of exploration of if matt went straight to college instead of staying in dillon. i love football so go ahead and add as many football details as your heart desires!
hunger games RPF: jennifer lawrence, josh hutcherson
my request for this one is simple: i want jennifer lawrence being a ridiculous, lovable human being, and josh being along for the ride. aside from that, go crazy.
