Oh yeah, I saw that on your journal and saved the link a long time ago. I'm mostly games and anime, so that's why you don't get a lot of novel/drama CD talk from me. I'll try it out though. Thanks. :D
lol! h-hey don't underestimate me XD I've tried everything I don't think there's ever going to be something that's "too much" for me anymore :X aahh! that gallery section is for member's only :/ meh I'll dig it out of livejournal later today.
And I wasn't just referring to novels! manga in general, I don't think you've ever mentioned Junjou Romantica or any Mangaka's work. Thought you weren't interested, but now that you've read 12 volumes of this I thought "hey she should try better!" most yaoi is never that long :0
Same here. I was like "gee, that's interesting. This woman is more fucked up then I thought. Time for dinner." OH, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO SIGN UP AS AN EIRI YUKI FAN. rofl
Hmm, just Wild Adaptor, Fake, and Yami no Matsuei. XD I have tons of series stored away that I haven't gotton around to yet, like Level C, I shall Never Return, Let Dai, Only the Ring Finger Knows...it goes on and on. I need to like read them or something
I used to love Gravitation and while I don't hate it, I can see how utterly WTF it is most of the time. Mainly I can't hate it because it was the first manga I had ever bought. Still doesn't excuse it for being a piece of crap though.
And for the record, I HATE and HAVE ALWAYS HATED the Eiri/Shuichi dynamic. I saw absolutely nothing that resembled love, even when I was a stupid Gravitation fantard. And I don't understand why eveyone hated Suguru either. He was just as fucked as the rest of the characters.
I do love K though. The guy got to act like a psychopath and blow people's heads off (which they somehow survived...?). SHINE ON, YOU CRAZY AMERICAN DIAMOND.
...Man even when I liked this series, I couldn't understand it. D8
I-i hate to admit it, but I don't really hate it either. I just love hating on it and maybe that's why I can't truly hate it. rofl It's all so complicated.
EirixShuichi is just shit. Eiri has to deal with a fucking crazy person who acts like a wild animal, and Shuichi has to deal with constant verbal abuse...I can't really blame Eiri that much though...if I had someone like Shuichi stalking me and shit I would throw every insult I knew at him too.
Then again every relationship in this series makes no sense whatsoever and has no basis in reality.
EDIt: Let's not forget all the cities Rage destroyed and how she's not in jail or something. XD
I enjoyed the music to Gravitation. And K. K was a highlight. I mean, his entrace was fun, barging in, holding the band at gunpoint, and acting like he's kidnapping them before anyone figured out "Oh, he's our manager?" I was entertained.
Can't say I was overly amazed by the series though. A couple of my friends really liked it. Not me.
Oh God, I'm so glad I never touched Gravitation. (Only the Remixes for the Grate Lulz.)
My first BL manga were Fake, Yami no Matsuei (train wreeeck), Kizuna, Love Mode and Kusatta Kyōshi no Hōteishiki, but I have no idea if I'd rec the last three ones to anyone without re-reading them beforehand. It's been a while since I read them, and I'm kind of scared to touch them again, because I have mostly fond memories of them and we all know that could end in disappointment and OMG WHAT DID I THINK.
If my memories are not completely betraying me, Kusatta Kyoushi no Houteishiki is very heavy on character development and an overall theme of growing up.
Mirage of Blaze looks interesting, thank you! /adds to list of things to watch
PS: I also share your appreciation of Wild Adapter.
