Got back from Skye last night, after a rather horrific 10 hour car journey home. Skye itself was fantastic. I was right when I predicted it would be a moody holiday, with many of the highlights being based around long solitary walks, mountains, sitting on cliffs watching birds fish, and taking arty photos of sunsets and landscapes

Work does tend to get in the way of life but you will adjust. Just think of the money :). The holiday sounds like it was fun, especially the sword forging place :).
