Uh, thank you. Cartoon me or real me?

You you. The cartoons are cute, but I am pretty sure I prefer the real you.

I prefer the real me too. I get to talk to you that way and not look like I stepped out of something by Disney.

I've seen that before. Does that mean "cute" or something like it?

Yes, 'cute'.

Where is everyone getting these from? They're really cute.

I'm guessing you like to paint.

I really should have included links. Sorry about that. The first is from tektek.com, the second is from subeahq.com.

And yeah, I do. It's how I make a living, actually. I'm a painter and a comic book writer. See, these are the things that most people talk about for an icebreaker.

That's okay. I've seen a few people make those cute little dolls, no one had links. Thanks.

Yeah, I guess that would have been a better icebreaker. That's really cool. So you do it all then, write, draw and color? Very impressive. Do you have a preference? Painting or comic book-ing? Pretend that's a verb.

My job is much less exciting. I run a health center for mutants in New York City.

You're welcome. People had to tell me where to get them too so I probably shouldn't have expected others to automatically know where to go.

Yeah, it's kind of an indie thing so I do all my own stuff. I don't exactly have a huge staff or anything so I work from my loft. It isn't all that exciting, but I enjoy it.

Oh wow, that's like asking a parent to choose their kid. I love them both, and a lot of times I paint out the panels on a larger canvas before drawing them. It helps me focus on where the story is going.

Forget exciting, your job is a lot more important. So what is it that the center does? Do you have doctors there or is it more of an insurance thing?

And another icebreaker tidbit: I live in New York City too. Small world.
