You're treating to pizza. And selling your art is generous because it's a part of you and you're allowing other people to have a part of it. At least, that's how I see it.

A large pizza is what, twelve bucks? I'm not rich or anything but that's not gonna break me.

And the art... ok so that's true. Having a photograph of what you did really isn't the same. There are certain paintings that are more important to me than others, though. It's the ones that have inspired me that are the hardest to sell rather than those on commission or certain ones I paint just because I think they catch a good price at an auction.
