Memoried.

The symbolism is gained over thousands of years of expressions, sayings, and writing. Lions weren't "majestic" since man could writer, and neither were birds always being perpetually freed from their gilded cage--they slowly evolved to those places. It's simple, in some instances, to see why we as a people would make those connections to those symbols and more complicated in others. But it is, simply, a constant evolution. I think it's sort of a mental-web too, but we can talk about that some other time.

On good days, really rare days, you'll catch me speaking+breathing poetry with whatever I'm doing. Not on any sort of forced-context. I simply give in, sink down, and the words overcome me. It's gorgeous. Everything I say seems to fit concisely and precisely. It flows. It matters, and is beautifully relevant. Perfectly. But, again, those are very, very rare.

It's a sad state that we aren't able to express ourselves in poetry more often. If only to get it out.
