ARGH!
Why are people incapable of replying to emails!!! I have sent out many emails over the last few weeks and about four people have managed to get back to me. Those have included the nice lady who will be making me a custom version of the corset I linked to in this post. It will be gorgeous and lovely and awesome, and she is selling me some extra material to go with the corset so I can work on the costume for my Birthday party. It will take a little while (4-5 weeks) since she's run out of green velvet at the moment. However, that means she can get the spare material at the same time, so it's positive really. People who haven't replied include the people I had to email from this website who seem to be incapable of matching swatches to colours, since the colours they list for the 12 button satin gloves do not match those colours on the swatch list at all. It's probably a labelling issue, but it sucks that they haven't a) changed it, or b) mailed me back. I'm going to email them again if they haven't got back to me tomorrow (unfortunately I forgot to prnt scrn the email and it was a 'fill in the box' thing and I don't remember the actual day I sent the email...) but it's not entirely good customer service.
Ok. Good news. I got my tights that I was waiting for, and they fit right and the colour looks good too. Now I just have to get the gloves, the hair and the corset/skirt sorted and I can start planning the rest of the party! Looking forward to tomorrow, when my Ironman DVD may well arrive, so YAY! Also Yay, we've chosen a play for CPP's May production, it'll need a bit of editing (I'm continuity officer...) since it's immensely long, but quite amusing and it's got a fairly good plot, as long as you remember who's who. If we don't change our minds about the play (and I don't think we will, time is becoming a serious issue) then I'll be playing a girl with an overbearing mother who is trying to trick a Squadron Leader into marrying her so she can get away from said mother.
I am ravenous. Thinking off chewing my own arm off because I can't think of anything in the fridge that I want to eat - since I want Artic Roll, and I forgot to get any *sad face*. But yay, Artic Roll is back. And I imagine just a tasty as ever.
