I didn't like Rachel no matter who played her. Katie Holmes seemed too young, even though she and Bruce were around the same age. It was as if she attended law school at a university that exists outside of time.

As far as Maggie Gill...Gyhl...the other Rachel I just couldn't stop thinking that her brother had rough cowboy sex with the Joker. I agree with you though, almost all of her lines grated on my nerves..."Harvey Dent, scourge of the underworld, afraid of the trust-fund brigade?" AHH I can't stand it!

I wrote out a reply to this and then my father turned the electricity off.

Anyway. I wasn't particularly enamoured with Katie Holmes either, she was so naive considering that she'd lived in Gotham all her life, but she wasn't in it as much, and she didn't switch her character around as much as Maggie did. I think that's what got me most, Maggie's Rachel had about seven different personalities. And, she was so weird at the fund raising party - beyond the trust fund brigade comment, she accused Bruce of taking the piss of Harvey, and I'm sitting there going... wait what? It was weird.
