dave it be chris god of pie. I know what you me about killing, exploration. One point i think is that there was unknown to be conquered and people fear unknown, they banded together, it gave them all a purpose. We as a society are purposeless, we have nothing but greed and charity to drive our actions. As for magic i think that there was and... hell i have no idea and i think that is the true power of it. not knowing we might not have been ment to know but that dosent stop the wanting, the burning need to know. Well magic can exist in my world, yet what you and i both want to know is not if there was magic but can it still be used by ones such as us.As for the killing thing notice both wizards and fighters to kill took years of practice to acomplish a level of skill were it could be used that way. the disicipline, not only knowing how to use the power but when.
