right there's a show in the drama dept for MA season that's being taken to the Mexican International Theatre Festival. The director is paying for all cast and crew to go, and my friend Masha is the set designer/floor manager. She can't get her visa in time cos she's russian, so they've asked me to go and be the floor manager! its only from 1st-5th June, and we'll be working the show but a) its cool that i've been recommended/picked for this cos i have a reputation at being good at what i do, b) i'm floor managing at an international theatre festival which will be great for my cv and c) i will be working not holidaying. its uber cool though, i can't believe they asked me. and on top of that, i'm just finishing up some sound design work for a show in london (though fringe rather than commercial theatre) and as fr tequila.... i'll let ya know ;)
