Actually you are right on a part you said before, as I will explain two theories why it is so.
In an actual relationship, the spirit does connect with thine other, he/she begins to feel as one.

When a spirit flame is created it automatically splits into. In ones lives his goal is to meet with his or hers twin flame and unite as one, this is everyones goal in life dispite what they may say. This is as opposed to the idea of a "soulmate" simply because a spirit has many of these. Soulmates are souls you have a connection with, they will always play a part in any of your lives and usually come into your life, help you learn a lesson then promptly leave your life for now.
