I'm working on planning Ethan's 1st birthday party for the end of August (for those of you who know you're invited, it will be Sunday, August 21 and I've already booked the place so it won't change). I had the corn idea last night as I was falling asleep, but the rest are SO great! Especially the party favor one!

I think for sure I will make my own farm themed invites and not buy store bought ones. I'm thinking red barns and raffia bows all the way!

OH that sounds like so much fun!! You sound tons more creative than I have ever tried to be so I really don't have any ideas. I'm pretty lucky because both of my kids have October birthdays and I have always wanted to have a halloween birthday party. With this being Anna's first birthday and Thomas will be 4 I think we are going to do that this year (considering we have been horrible parents by not giving our little guy a big family birthday party before).
