the spoon was huge. and the picture seems to make everything seem proportionally bigger than me.
the camera kinda disappeared after the meal though... we rode around for a while, ended up at the school around 10, and stayed till 12. i had to run home to change and grab my shoes, then we met back up with leslie and bradley at her house.
bradley and i split off to take alex and tyler to the Y for the afterparty, and we took a ride towards greensboro to just talk for a while. since it was early in the morning, dark, and with very little traffic, the conditions caused my instinct of driving to work to kick in. we ended up in the parking lot of UPS before i realized what i had done. we drove back to elon, bradley got in his car and headed to the stallings (i think) while i returned leslie's camera to her over at amanda's. they had just turned on the incredibles, so i was easily persuaded to stay. i fell asleep about 30 minutes into the movie. the next thing i knew, i was waking up to the sound of a trip, followed by an "oh crap!" coming from scott's mouth. naturally, i became wide awake at the possibility that i might be subject to a severe body slam. luckily, he fell on the other side of the room. but i was already awake. so i got up.
the way home was interesting. crazy things happen sometimes, and they tend to complicate life. that doesn't mean that i didn't drive home with a smile though.
it was a night well-spent on many things.
