The door opened before he could answer it, and he took in the vision of his wife. She was always a sight to behold, the alluring confidence, liquid sex appeal, and general ethereal beauty she exuded always a combination that shook him. This was his wife; and tonight she glowed.

Breaking his gaze from her he returned to polishing the blade he worked on.

"Well don't just stand there. Come in already."

His greeting caused a smirk to form, and she sauntered in, the door closing behind her. Slowly she mde the rounds of his forge, fingers tracing carefully over some finished pieces, never actually touching the metals of any blade, admiring this shield or that breastplate, never saying a word. For his part, Heph just worked, same as always.

Coming full circuit, she stepped behind him, an arm slipping beneath the leather apron to circle his waist, other hand lifting to brush aside dark hair, her head resting comfortably on the back of his shoulder, body a familiar presense as it pressed against him gently.

Deliberately he finished his work before turning, shoulders relaxing slightly against her head. In time he turned, calloused hand resting on her hip while he kissed her forehead.

"There is family conflict in the air. It has your feel to it."

The air would tste funny without conflict of some sort on it... her tone was idle as her head tilted back, sapphire gaze taking him in. Hand cupping his cheek, she stretched up to kiss him lightly, offering a chastised look as he pulled way after a moment, giving her the look She knew well enough. Oh, fine... You'll hear it all. or all I know, at least. But let's go sit...
