Certain things were getting very old, Aphrodite felt. While Ares assured her things were going in one direction, she wasn't sure how far to trust that... Which left her to her own devices.

Bored, there was a burst of pink as she appeared in the temple of her son, a pout forming as she looked around slowly

Cupie... Where are you?

You know, mum.... My masculinity is in some serious trouble when you call me that.

~~a sound akin to several doves vacating a window ledge signaled his arrival into tangibility. Placing both hands on his hips, wings tucked neatly behind him as he looked over the woman he was oddly familiar with in a manner no therapist could ever correct....~~

What's shakin'?

grinning, her nose scrunched lightly before she reached forward, palm on one cheek as she leaned up to kiss his other

Aww sweetiepie, there's no one doubting you're all man... what've you been up to?

smiling, she made a show of looking th place over, her smile way too innocent to mean anything other then she was planning something

That innocent act may work on dad, War isn't exactly captain of the team in that department. But Love is. ....And I don't buy that look!

~~his arms slithered into each other like mating snakes, hands emerging below his slender but toned biceps...~~

What look? I resent the fact that you seem to think I'm up to something, Cupie...

offering a hurt look, she wandered towards his bow, picking it up as she pretended to aim at something, her handling of the weapon indicating she had no knowledge of how to use it.

Speaking of dear old dad.... how's your aim these days, cupcake?

You'll be informed. I'm interested in this too, Mum. Maybe not the same way you are, but unappreciated love is funny when it happens to mortals, not gods. Especially not my father.

~~there was an edge of bitterness to a voice which usually rang with a comfortable pleasantness. Hercules had a less than approachable past, especially if you were one of Ares' children.... Expanding his grand wings, flapping them twice to loosen the feathers...he looked to his mother~~

Chin up, ma. You know the saying. Love'll come through in the end. Even if some ass-kicking is involved.

That's ... not quite how the saying goes...

she chuckled though, bright eyes beaming up at closest offspring as she reached for his hand, squeezing it gently

I knew I could count on you, baby.

~~grinning widely at her, pointing with his free hand, the other returning her squeeze~~

O, trust me, that's how it goes.

~~stepping across the distance between, he embraced her warmheartedly. She was always the most understanding to his ways and thoughts, so doing her the service of investigation was no burden~~

I better head out. The more I think about the images I've been getting from those two, the more curious and also the more disturbed I become.

~~blinked twice and turned, walking away and slowly blurring~~

Don't mess with my stuff!
