Apologies to those of you I disappeared on today, for much longer than I had anticipated. I had the opportunity to tour the non-public areas (including the roof) of the most fantastic church -- the Basilica of Saint Lawrence, designed by Rafael Guastavino. Un-frakking-believeable

I'm going to try and get an entry into my mun journal this evening with photos and stuff, as our staff photographer was with us.
