The minute the last of their guests was out the door, Aziraphale grabbed Wilson by the hand and hauled ass for the stairs.

He got about a third of the way up, when his toe caught on a step.

"BUGGER!" he hollered, hopping a bit on the other foot and wondering what the hell kind of demonic creature had infested his stairs to cause that much pain. "What the bloody hell was that? That hurts!"

Now that he had a moment to think about something besides OMGSEXNOW...he was cold, too. And not in that nice 'oh the wind is a bit chill and I feel it on my face' cold. "James..."

Wilson was feeling a bit caught up in a whirlwind and he'd paused a bit bemusedly at the stairs as Aziraphale hopped around yelping about his toe and stopped now with a blink, wondering why they were stopping when the bed was right over there.

Cold. Hungry. Definitely in pain from something that wasn't even bleeding. He had an itch.

"I have an itch."

It was possibly the first time Wilson had ever heard that phrase said with quite so much sincere confusion.

"Yeah, it sounds like you've had an itch most of the day," Wilson said with an inviting smile as he made his way over to the bed and lay down on it.
