Front Porch of The Divine Leaf, Thursday Morning (02/14)

Feb 14, 2008 10:43

The day had certainly got off to a remarkable -- and floral -- beginning. First there was the rather large arrangement of tulips that Aziraphale had left next to the bed before sneaking away to make breakfast for his mate, and then there was the lovely bouquet of white roses Jack had sent over.

So it didn't really surprise the angel when he heard a buzzing sound as he walked around the outside of the house toward the front porch. After all, with all the flowers around, they were bound to attract a few bees.

Okay, not necessarily a swarm of them, though. Aziraphale frowned at the cluster of bees that was buzzing around the front door. "Really, my dears, a tea shop is no place for you. What are you up to?"

A moment later, the swarm surrounded the angel, some of them landing on him, others hovering around his body. "Oh now, I hardly think that's appropriate at all! Look, what about a nice splash of tea with honey? Doesn't that sound good?"

And that was how there came to be a small swarm of bees crowded around several saucers of tea, sitting on the front porch of the Divine Leaf.

[ooc: Really just establishy, although anyone who wants to wander by and WTF? at the scene is welcome to do so.]
