A day at the Snow Village

Mar 08, 2012 09:15

I'm on reading week this week so I get to wake up a little later than usual.

Look who decided to join me last night.

Story time.

Putter around tidying up.

We're going to the snow village today!

They have an ice restaurant there.

This is how much it costs to eat lunch there.

So I make sandwiches.

Someone can't wait for his sandwich so I make another one.

Put on some Sesame Street.

Read some lj.

Throw some stuff in the crock pot.

Wash dishes.

Get ready to go.

Walk to the bus stop.

On the bus.

Yay for buses with clean windows!

Metro station.

On the metro.

Another metro station.

Well, this doesn't look good. We're not even there yet and he looks like he's ready to fall asleep!

Finally there.

A view from the train.

Entrance-way to the igloo-village thing.

There were all kinds of bedrooms and you could actually stay in them for the night. My son loved running in and out of all the curtained doorways checking them all out.

The alter in the snow chapel. People can get married there.

The outside of the snow chapel.

More beds.

:\

Hey, let's play with a toy exactly like one that we have at home!

Time to eat.

He loved this race car.

He fell asleep on the metro and I carried him onto the bus.

But I woke him up when we got off the bus and made him walk home.

Supper wasn't ready when we got home, wtf. I put it on high for another hour.

And we had some snacks.

And watched the Bachelor on the internet.

And cuddled on the couch.

And then we had supper and stumbled off to bed.
