My in-laws took the kids for the weekend so this is a very uncommon Saturday without children! Unfortunately my husband had to work at night so this day is mostly me hanging out alone.

Definitely hard to turn off mama mode, but I sleep *so* much better when my kiddos spend the night with my in-laws. I sleep pretty lightly when they're home, always listening for that middle-of-the-night "Mama!"

Also, England!! That sounds so lovely. Have a marvelous time!

I don't sleep too badly when they're home, but I love being able to wake up whenever I want instead of being jarred awake before 7am when they wake me up.

Thank you! It's been my dream vacation since I was 5 or 6 and it was kind of a spontaneous decision to go this summer, but things just kind of worked out!

I'm horrible at first person shooter games so I don't play, but my husband loves them. I'm more of a Super Mario or Lego Batman type of gamer if I play any at all.
