Thank you! Always good hearing babies are awesome from other mothers. I feel like pregnant ladies tend to get all the dire warnings instead. :)

It sounds like we may be due date twins? I'm due October 7 with my first! Do you know the gender yet?

I also could not stomach vegetables the first 20 or so weeks - now that I'm 26 weeks doing a little better with that :)

Also, I'm from Michigan originally and let me say - Michigan is awesome! I think you will fall in love!!

Yes! I'm Oct 10th, so we're very close! We found out the sex the very next day: girl! I'd've been happy either way, but it's weird how much just knowing has made her more real. Did you find out yours, or did you opt to wait and see?

Yess, tell me how good Michigan is. I'm worried about the dark because I'm a Florida girl, but we'll just fill the house with lamps and light.

We are having a girl too!! I am over the moon about it - always wanted a little girl :) We're naming her Evangeline.

I live in Virginia now but would move to Michigan in a heartbeat if I could. I'm from Rochester, a quaint, quiet town in the metro Detroit area. Michigan has awesome cities/downtown metro areas (Ann Arbor* don't miss visiting Ann Arbor!, Traverse City, Grand Rapids...) but also gorgeous nature areas - be sure to visit the sand dunes "up north" - aka the northern part of the lower peninsula. I'm a water girl and there are lakes EVERYWHERE. It's special place <3

That cake looks amazing.

I feel like I know you so well from your DitLs and more recently your blog. It just occurred to me how strange it is that I've never met you.
