Hello! I'm not sure if this will work, the man at the hatching place seemed distracted when he was telling me about it. I think his name was Charger, he got really annoyed when I didn't take the clothing he offered. I finally took the shirt because he was yelling that I couldn't go out naked, but his face was really red by that point ( Read more... )

Greetings, Cissus. I am Handmaiden.

Most here seem to have an overdeveloped sense of bodily modesty. It does make things inconvenient sometimes.

Hello Handmaiden, nice to meet you!

We were all born naked I'm assuming, so why be modest? It's so weird!

It is not something I have ever understood. I suppose it is something ingrained from the different cultures we all hail from, but I do not understand why they are so ashamed of their own bodies.

I see nothing wrong with being naked. It's freeing and beautiful, especially when you can dance and frolic about!

Hello Cissus, welcome to Edensphere. My name is Juliet.

What sort of things are you interested in? That helps when deciding a job.

Hello Juliet, thank you for the welcome!

I like hunters, and dancing, and running through the woods. Oh, and flowers and music!

Some people are embarassed by their bodies. And so everyone wears clothes for them.

Hello, Cissus! I am Youth! You cannot talk? You are not alone in that, if that is good to know.

Oh, so my wearing clothes would be a nice thing for those who aren't happy with their bodies? I want to be nice...

Hello, Youth! No, Charger was getting mad because I could only repeat his words until he gave me something to write on! There's another who can't talk?

Welcome to the Sphere, Cissus! I'm sorry to hear that you can't talk, but as people have mentioned before, perhaps you would enjoy getting to know Monster-chan~!

Thank you for the welcome! Well, I can talk if someone else does since I can repeat stuff. It's weird. I'll have to meet her, people keep bringing her up.

How interesting... Like a parrot or an echo!

And yes, Monster-chan is quite the lovely girl. She's like my little sister!

Yes, I guess so. Like a parrot, or a whatever that other word is. I can't read it for some reason.

She sounds really great! People can have brothers and sisters here?

Ah, talking is dumb; around here it's not necessary, so don't let it bug you too much. And those pesky Shirt and Shoes Required rules... I mean, I think most people would choose to wear clothes, but I fail to see why it's mandatory.

[He's... so very amused by this entry. XD]

That's good to know that it's not necessary, I wouldn't want it to hold me back. I'm going to need shoes, too? I like being barefoot though...

Most of the people around here get to know other people via these journals, so sometimes it's months before you meet people in person. I think you can do just as well without words, though--people aren't what they say, they're what they do.

And I dunno if shoes are required everywhere around here, it's just kind of a two-fer rule in some places. I don't think anybody'd get mad on a first offense though--it's more so you don't hurt yourself, I think. I wouldn't go to the Yard without shoes--lots of stuff to cut yourself on there.

By the way, I'm Lea; got it memorized?

That sounds easy enough, and it's a good way for me to 'talk' to people without worrying about annoying them. I'm hopeful that you're right about that.

Thank you for the advice and information, I'll see about getting a pair of shoes to wear for when I'm wandering around. I wouldn't want to step on anything and cut myself.

Nice to meet you Lea!
