Haven't updated in forever. Debating whether or not to purge the LJ and just keep it around for the friend page. Although I must say I feel vaguely attached to it, as it's been around for nearly 18 months, which is much longer than any other journaly affairs I've kept ( Read more... )

you would be living literally three minutes away from my house. walking distance. we'd be neighbors! (except for the fact that i'd be off at college too...hmmm...well, sort of neighbors.)

Yay Swarthmore college! I live in Swarthmore, it's a nice area. My grandmother used to be gead science librarian at Cornell science library, she retired now though. Peter Schickele went to Swarthmore college. Yay P.D.Q. Bach!

As an old and (maybe) wise senior who's been there, definitely stay over before you do anything ED. I thought Swarthmore was my first or second choice until I did an overnight, and decided it wasn't really for me. The tour is definitely not enough to go by.

Yes and yes. The overnight was well after all apps were due, definitely the more fun half of the school year. How does college get treated at boarding school?

Well, I can't really speak for "Boarding School" as an entity, because my school's pretty... different... But I think we treat it much like any other school, in that people make a much bigger deal of it than necessary. Also, what didn't you like about Swarthmore?
