i <3 coach. HBHS has been handling the whole situation wicked badly though. they only told the track kids, and they didn't even tell them the whole story. and they instructed them that when asked they should only say, "he's not doing too well." I think they could have been more forthcoming about it so that all students who love him and care for him could know what was going on. I only know about it from Bobby O, most kids in school don't have any idea that he even has cancer, they just think he went for another hip replacement or something. Some of us were told today that we should e-mail coach with anything we wanted to say before we left for vacation. I really hope with all my heart that he is still with us when I get back.
thats horrible!! i cant believe they're doing that. the guy i work with got an email saying how all the kids have been told and everything. i hope you've been telling others whats really up. i didnt have him for sports; i had him for gym and studies and i still thought he was the man
