Today I have been most upset by the news that Game might be going into administration if they don't come up with cash by March 25th. As owners of GameStation this means that they too will disappear. Life priorities clearly shown here by Karo ( Read more... )

For some people internet/games/etc is well beyond a hobby. It's plain and simple an addiction. Example, my MIL cannot live without her Smartphone, Kindle Fire, AND laptop within arms reach. I wish I was joking. She had to be talked into taking a week long break from facebook because she would literally stay up until 3-4am just stalking a friend of a friend's profile ( ... )

Ok, here it goes: we do have the wii, ds and psp, but that's rather my son, I don't really play BUT I am a huge pc player :) and yes, I have been too deep into games where I did lose some real word functionality but I'm fine now again!

I have ticked yes and no (at least I think I did, low attention span today :P) when it comes to whether we are too dependent on tech. At work if the servers or the net are down we're all screwed. Old work, new work not so much so I do think we do rely on it a bit too much, but it's just so much more efficient and I can't even imagine not having it.

I don't have to say I'd be lost without the net and my shiny pc :)

My "snowflake" for the third question is simply a "no, I don't own any of these". I do have a PC, though.
