How can you not love college? This last half of the semester has been incredible. A lot of work, even more fun and plenty of time spent doing nothing at all. I still can't believe that I am lucky enough to have made such great friends in only a few months. Each day is filled with such excitement and there's always something to do.

Then I think of Montclair. Oh New Jersey. So much noise, a hazy, purple sky that never really gets completely dark. Crowded streets - I'm going to miss my relaxing runs around Lewisburg with no traffic and a gorgeous view of the Susquehanna river. Curfews, Mom yelling at me to make my bed, questions about where I'm going and restrictions.

Then I think of driving a car with my music playing loud. The shore and playing with my cousins in the ocean. Working at TCBY and bringing home $15 in tips. My friends. Girls that I was so afraid to leave because I didn't think I could handle life without them. They've put in time and effort to keep in touch and I'm beginning to realize that you can grow close to people even if you're not with them every second of the day. You can have your own experiences and still maintain relationships with people who are not experiencing it all with you.

Maybe that's the life of a college student. You're always missing something, your home or your college and the friends that are part of each section of your life. There's not much we can do about it except enjoy where we are and look forward to each spring break, start of school and every day inbetween.
