Kiti had plenty of time to rethink the wisdom of meeting Kenshin and his friends at Pizza-Hut and was starting to get a little nervous. "Hey Hikaru, this is Kiti. Listen, do you want to go to Pizza Hut with me? Kenshin invited me to meet Chii and Andy with him, but I don't want to go by myself, so uhh.. wanna come? Please please please????" Kiti wasn't real used to asking favors so her words were a little rushed, but she figured her friend would get the gist.
"You can call Jun too, that way we would match numbers!" she added before Hikaru could say no.

"Well...Jun's at work...he's working with the younger children today. So he wont be able to...And I have work starting at 2...so if you don't mind me coming in my work clothes, I can come...." Hikaru replied, lightly pulling a needle through the cloth she was holding.

"Cool, I was afraid i'd have to go by myself! I really appreciate this." Kiti grinned broadly even though she couldn't be seen. "I'll meet you there at 12:00 then, that should give us enough time before you have to get to work."

Kiti got to Pizza Hut with a few minutes left to spare. Looking at the familiar red roof, she grinned, remembering how when she had first moved to Tokyo, these American fast food places had seemed like such a refuge from the foriegness of the rest of Japan. She and her brother Ken had pratically lived at McDonalds, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut, and she still couldn't go a whole week without a Taco Bell fix!
She looked around, but didn't see any familiar faces yet. Chewing on her ponytail, she readjusted her purse on her shoulder, and checked all her pockets, the not so obvious ones she had added as well as the normal ones. She took a breath and with a final glance around walked through the doors.

"Hey Kiti!" called Kenshin when he saw her enter. He had arrived early because he was bored. He hadn't gotten any responses from Andy or Chii, and he doubted they would come, but it would still be fun if everyone else came.

Hikaru came into the pizza hut, dressed up in her waitress outfit for work. Since she worked at a fancy Italian restraunt, the outfit was classy and professional. She grinned when she saw Kiti.

"Kiti!" she called, waving a bit.

Kiti looked around at the sound of her name. It took a minute for her eyes to adjust, but she figured the voice sounded like Kenshins. she really hoped so, it would be kind of embarrasing if she said hi Kenshin and it wasn't. She settled for just-
"HI!" fortunatly right about then she was able to make him out , yes it was him.
She headed over to the table and saw Hikaru in her uniform.

"Oh, I hope you don't mind I invited my friend Hikaru too." she said waving her friend over to the table and sitting down.

Andy walked up to the building, not really knowing if this was where Kenshin had wanted her and Chii to go. With a sigh, she entered. It took a moment before her eyes adjusted to the dim lighting, and when they finally did, she looked around for the familiar faces of her friends, if only just one of them. She was beginning to regret coming, but she wasn't about to leave now...

Andy followed the voice, and then waved back to Kenshin as she walked over. She glanced at the two sitting with him, then sat down herself. She surveyed the two with curious eyes.

Chiisuchine hated other people, especially people she didnt know. She walked into the store and hugged andy. "Hows it?"She said, no releseing andy. she saw kenshin and smiled at him. She contemplated just leaving after a few words, but she didnt know how to make an exit at this time.

Andy hugged Chii back. "been better..." she said quietly. "how've you been?" She gave a small smile.

Hikaru watched Chii carefully, not trusting her, but willing to give her a chance. She looked over at Kiti, unsure. After all, she was there to give Kiti support, not to make new friends. As far as she was concerned, an enemy of the school gang was not a good person to become close to, as she knew that Kenshin was or had been opposing them. It was all over school that they had to stay away from him, after all.

'I don't want to be involved...maybe being friends with them would be a bad idea....I'll end up dragged into their little fight and I don't really want to be involved....' she thought, suppressing a sigh.

"Hi, yeah, thats right Kiti, I'm kinda surprised you remembered." Kiti gave a welcoming smile,
"this is my friend Tsukita Hikaru." she said, gesturing towards Hikaru, relieved that Chii had broken up some of the awkwardness setting in around the table. She sensed Hikaru's nervousness and was glad that she had been honest about who they were meeting, and why she wanted her friend there. She wasn't sure what all Kenshin had told them, but she got the feeling that the other girls were as nrevous about her and Hikaru as, they were about them.
She replayed that last thought in her head. She was glad she hadn't said it out loud, no-one at the table would have been able to make any sense of it!
