Yes, just yes.... Loved it.
I got a wee bit uncomfortable with some of the McCoy bits where it was so obvious they were kind of throwing in catch phrases but other than that it was spot on. The dammit I'm a doctors were just a bit to blatent. Otherwise Spock, Sulu, Chekov and Uhura were fantastic and although I'd been a bit nervous of Simon Pegg as Scotty he was wonderful and hilarious. I loved the comraderie between Bones and Jim and I wish we could have seen more of that.
The alternate timeline was a wonderful solution to the re-imagining and allows for so many more options if they choose to continue with this storyline. I was constantly laughing but unfortunately I wasn't with a bunch of hardcore Trekkies so a bunch of the inside jokes went way over their heads. I'm going to admit to loving the Spock/Uhura story. I'd love to read the backstory of how she managed to convince him to sleep with her.
There is a bunch more that I'm missing but mostly I want to go and see it again. Maybe at an Imax.
