This weekend has been absolutely non-eventful. I have been having headaches still but now that I can manage them they are just freaking annoying, especially because they make me so tired. Today has been a lot better, mostly because I think that front has finally made it all the way through. Hooray! I'm looking forward to a better week with less ( Read more... )

Ooo! Exciting! I want to see the dress. I am v. jealous of your ability to sew. I wish I could. But I can't sew straight. :-(

Sewing straight takes practice. I'm still not great at it. Nor am I that great at reading patterns. I just kind of jumped in and went for it, and thankfully had good results. I was a little concerned with what I had going on there for awhile, but I made it work! *giggle*

That is so amazing.
I get anxiety attacks just walking into the fabric section of Hobby Lobby.
Excuse me, can you point me to the acrylic paint?

It is really really nervewracking to sew at first, I'm not going to lie to you. I am just kind of feeling my way through it, because it's been so long since I actually sewed with any kind of real knowledge. I am the kind of person that just jumps in and learns as I go, but gets frustrated because I'm not 100% perfect right off the bat. LOL

I hope your migraines go away. I used to get REALLY Bad ones. I know it's no fun.

I've been feeling the sewing bug the past week, but I haven't figured out what to make. Maybe I'll stop by Joanne's and check out some patterns. I have a fair amount of fabric sitting on a shelf. I hope I can find something to do with some of that.

Can't wait to see pics of the dress.
