Route 66 Road Trip - Days 12 & 13

Yesterday we started in Needles, CA and drove to Barstow, where we finally drove our last miles and said goodbye to America's Highway. Another couple of hours found us pulling up to our resort hotel in Palm Springs, CA. It's been a lovely, relaxing couple of days here, resting up for the headlong dash home. We're looking at Tucson tomorrow night
