What the hell..

I just went to *3* different gas stations....

All 3 were out of unleaded?!?! All they had was superunleaded.

Oh..and there were LINES....at freaking 7:30AM!?

I'm telling you!! People up here are freaking out over nothing! I'm glad this wide spread panic doesn't occur everytime we have a fucking severe storm in spring!!! Jesus H.. My question is.. If these people think the weather is gonna be SO bad this weekend, then why the hell you need gas? Where you gonna go?

And bottled water ?! uhmm.. we've been in a drought for MONTHS.. our lakes are -10 feet in water.. I think we have plenty of room for flooding.. in all my 31 years in DFW, I've never seen a flood out.. And if the power DOES go out.. Your kitchen tap isn't going to be working? I mean.. Sure! I'd understand if we were near the ocean.. not 300 fucking miles from it.. I don't think a storm surge can go THAT far..

People need to chill out!!

ok, I'll end my rant! lol

sorry:)

Last night in Toronto gas was $1.04/litre and the lines were typically 6-12 cars/pump. In the outskirts and surrounding areas of Ontario gas ranged from $1.35 to $2.80/litre. The lines were a panic response by people to the costs doubling. Many stations in my area ran dry. Also there are supply concerns. People are filling every container availible. I have personally seen prices as high as $1.86/litre. To convert to US$/Gallon that "Canadian Price/litre" x 3.8 / 1.19
So $8.41USD/gal. = $1.86/litre up from $3.32USD/gal.

Nice huh? Yesturday Crude Prices dropped......

Yeah it's freaky here too and we're way North Texas.
We'll get a little rain and a little wind but it's like the end of the world with people stocking up on supplies and gas. DAng.

I actually think it's people leaving Houston and Galveston, etc. Just a population explosion basically.
