Well, as I write this, I have awful heartburn, my ankles are swollen and my pelvis hurts. Good times. Warning, if you don't want to indulge me in whining for the next several paragraphs, stop reading now

Well, I've actually found that soda water is better than ginger ale, because it doesn't have that bite. But really, it doesn't matter anymore what I do - I'm awake right now because I've been dreaming about having acid reflux all night. Crazy.
The pelvis problems are not as related to weight-bearing, but yes, probably water sports would be better. I've heard swimming is really nice when you're pregnant, I just don't have easy access to a pool on a regular basis so I don't imagine I'll pursue that unless it gets impossible to take walks.

Erm, I know it's out of your way, but if it's a matter of health, I can talk to Chien about you having free access to our pool whenever you like between now and your birthing?

Well, I know it's not as useful as finding a pool closer to home that you could use, (don't most 24hour fitness type places have pools for members? Hmm...) but Chien has agreed that as long as you call ahead in case it's a really bad time, you're welcome to our pool for the next couple months.
I can give you a key so you can get inside for the bathroom and all when we're not actually home.

I have two suggestions, one of which I'm sure you've already thought of and discarded.
1: Diluted ginger beer or cold ginger tea, instead of hot tea? I mean, it seems like a duh, but still...
2: Would water aerobics or some other full-support, low-impact activity allow you to get exercise without running the risks with your bones?
*hugs* I hope you can find good solutions soon!
