Frustration

Sep 21, 2004 11:50

The week from Hell decided to stick around a bit longer. We had to sleep upstairs for 3 nights, and sleeping on the floor has left me with my shoulder and upper back muscles twisted and bunched. Not a pleasant feeling. Plus Alex's strep decided it wasn't ready to leave, so we ended up taking her to the emergency room Sunday night. Her temp was 103 ( Read more... )

I believe people should do what they want so do what you want!! I'm glad to hear Alex is not sick anymore. :) I am so lucky my son hasn't gotten really sick yet. I used to all the time when I was a kid so I'm waiting to see if he will too. He might not just cause his dad rarely ever gets sick. I hope he got his dad's immune system:)

Hopefully one of these days we will be on at the same time instead just around the same time.

I'm sorry to hear Alex is still sick. It sounds like one of those antibiotic resistant infections poor kid.

On the bright side you didn't kill an yone at the hospital...doesn't that give you brownie points to kill extra civillians?

Meanwhile yes you can do stuff with a History or Psych degree... teach. Computer Electronics is a vastly overpopulated field right now everyone thinks they are going to get rich if they become a techie but that is far from the case its about the same odds as winning the lottery to even get a job in the tech field much less one that pays really well. Go for the psych degree if it makes you happy at least you will have a degree under your belt (which is what a number of companies look for... they don't give a rats behind what your major was) and the world definately needs more teachers so if all else fails you can get a teaching certificate in very short order.

Yes I have extra brownie points to use while driving to work and dealing with morons who can't drive. I'm going to save up and get a battering ram installed on my car :)

I've already talked to Mom about changing majors. She's cool with it. Dad doesn't know yet...

Oooh battering ram... still a rocket launcher would be a nice touch too. How many people do we not have to kill to get one of those I wonder?

i hope alex really is better... i hate seeing kids sick, even though, if memory serves me, they care less then adults a lot of the time cuz they just don't think to get scared with their parents around... and i hope you really do get to change over to psych...
