Hana yelped and shot behind Jinx.

Jinx did her best to stand firm while monsters fought all around them. If it wasn't for Tiger Vespermon they probably would be set upon by now.

"W-well...let's go find them then?" She offered. Not that she wanted to leave the battle but the girls were family...sort of.

"Were they hurt?"

Shuensha frowned. "Find them?" Her eyes were still fixed unmoving on Jinxs.

"Yes." She snapped in answer to the question as she began to walk toward them.

Shu looked around herself then leaned around Jinx to look at Hana, as if just realizing where her angry rampage had brought her. "What are you doing?"

Pidonus, for her part, wasn't sure how to react to Hana's sudden hiding, or Shu's anger...

"M-Megaera wouldn't leave without good reason," she half-stammered.

"Y-yeh." Hana maganed to peer around Jinx and look at Shu.

"She and Fifi are always wanting to do stuff for you, seems kinda weird for them to just leave..."

Ivan wouldn't normally interrupt a reunion of lovers like this, but this was hardly the time to be sentimental. As Fate descended, Ivan took a much more direct approach to the Halberd.

He dove off the edge of the Claudia's deck and performed a masterful swan dive. He realized his white wings only as he was closing within a hundred feet of the downed ship, and he landed in a heavy crouch on the deck.

"Commander Takamachi, Agent Fate," Ivan stated quickly. "Are you okay, Commander?"

As Nanoha and Ophanimon reached the Halberd's deck, her Blaster Bits suddenly flickered out as she reverted to Exceed Mode and she fell forward. The angel caught her, and she supported herself on her partner.

"Sorry..." she mumbled, but smiled. "Give me sixty seconds... I'll be able to shoot again, then..."

She looked up at Fate, and then at Ivan.

"I'll be fine in a moment... There's a reason I locked off my Blaster Mode, but it's been necessary..."

She looked out at the battle. "The way they're going, I suspect I'll have a clear shot here soon..."

"Nanoha..."

Fate tightened her grip on Bardiche. She knew this was not a time to tell Nanoha not to push herself, but at the same time, she couldn't help but want to.

"... I'll back you up," she said, flying to Ophanimon's side.

Ivan, on the other hand, had no such belief in letting Nanoha push herself.

"You will take three minutes, Commander," Ivan told her sternly, crossing his arms. "No less. We need you, of all people, in top physical condition. You must collect yourself, rehydrate, and stop fighting so that you may update your intel."

He uncrossed his arms, and reached out to put his hand on her shoulder. "Remember," he told her. "You're a commander. DATS needs you leading on top of fighting."

Dropping his hand from her shoulder, he tapped at his D-Reader and realized a bottle of water, which he thrust into Nanoha's hand. "Now. Drink," he ordered her.

Nanoha nodded to Fate, smiling. "I wouldn't expect anything less, Fate-chan..."

She then looked at Ivan. She still smiled, though it was a bit of a smirk now.

"I know my body, Ivan-san," she said. As it is, she knew she wouldn't be worth anything for weeks NOW. A couple more wouldn't make it worse, at the rate things had been going in this fight. "However... I'll compromise."

She took the bottle.

"If it takes them three minutes to reach UltimateChaosmon, then I'll wait three minutes. If they're there quicker... Then I take my shot quicker."

She tapped her D-Reader.

"That is, at least, assuming you meant it when you told me to save those magazines."

Ivan grinned at her and started cracking his knuckles. "Something like that," he said "I want Daigo in the right position first. He has another task before I want you to shoot him."

He didn't look any more insane than he normally did. But then... he was Ivan.

Nanoha's eyes flickered a bit, and she glanced out at the battle again.

"You're both aware that Daigo hasn't trained against Blaster Mode, I'm certain. Only Exceed... and that wouldn't be enough for what you're planning, I imagine."

Ophanimon leaned down towards her partner. "Nanoha... a shot like that, while he's right up in Ultimate Chaosmon's FACE? WITH your Ultimate Digi-Soul? Do you... really..."

Nanoha just stared at Ivan. She notably wasn't debating AGAINST his idea, either.

"No. It would not," Ivan confirmed. "I have already informed Daigo what I expect of him, and offered him the chance to decline. He told me to tell you what I need you to do."

Ivan looked out towards Chaosmon, and the red digisoul that enveloped Daigo as the man streaked towards his target. "I admire the boy," Ivan said. "He lives up to the expectations of Masaru and Suguru. If I had an army of him, I could rule the world, but I would never say that, even if you ripped my mouth off. What ever the case!"

Ivan looked back to Nanoha. "It will not just be your digisoul, assuming I understand your weapon correctly," Ivan told her. "If we can't get the Halberd up in time to fire another shot, I would like to add my own digisoul to your attack. And that of anyone else who is willing to shoot at Daigo."
