Caro's investigation had hit a stand still. She was no closer to finding out who had caused those digimon to run amok than when she started.
The fact that there were no visual clues as to whom or what had caused it all to happen, or whether it was magic-related, based on techology, biology, or as was the case in her world, a combination of all three of these things was endlessly frustrating. For all Caro knew, it could really be a result of the virus affecting everyone... or even another one entirely.
But she couldn't give up. Not after Erio had come so far...
... That was why the sight of a young, pink haired girl entering a seedy bar was occurring. If someone had done this consciously, then he might have connections to the criminal underworld.
Caro couldn't leave any stone unturned. So, she approached the nearest person sitting at the bar...
"Excuse me, sir, could I ask you some questions?"
