Who: Sandy Marko, [open to tamers age 13 and under]
What: Field day in the Tetha park. Weather prediction? Windy with a 80% chance of Robot attack.
When: March 23rd Late morning
Where: Tetha park.

"And what exactly is this thing your making?" Sandy asked in a bored tone as she watched Gottsumon set about his business with some sticks and some paper.

"It's a kite Sandy, come on you don't have kites back home?" The rockbear digimon asked with a slightly amused tone.

"I think I've heard of them? I've never seen one though...what's it do?" her hands were propping up her face as she knelt next to him, elbows on her legs.

"It's cool! Lemme just finish here and you can give it a shot." He hummed cheerfully. After weeks of barely keeping up with her he'd finally convinced her to spend a day playing games with him in the park. For this purpose he'd packed her D-reader full of outside toys like balls and bats and gloves and cones. He hoped that other kids would show up to play with them eventually.

As he finished he held up his work admiring it. A simple red box kite. "Perfect!" He approved and stood up handing her the string. She looked at it unimpressed.

"OK here's what we do...we let the string out some, you start running and then me. Once we have enough wind I let go and this babies gonna fly!"

"On it's own?" Sandy asked as a strong gust of spring wind caught her from behind and ruffled her short cut sandy blond hair.

"Nope! It's the wind that does it. Days like today are perfect for flying kites you'll see."

She cocked an eyebrow at the dark gray digimon. She'd given such a hard time since she'd arrived she supposed it was the least she could do to give it a shot. Besides no one else was around if she messed up.

She took off running into the wind, eyes squinting against it turning over her shoulder to watch as Gottsumon jogged after her in his slower more thunderous way before releasing the tiny craft to the mercy of the wind.

It soared triumphantly into the air, jerky at first twisting different directions as Sandy continued running into the wind that lifted her new toy. Finally it stabalizedand she slowed feeling an odd sort of peace from watching it bob and sway in the wind.

Not bad these kite things.
