we adopted a new puppy today!! her name is Maizey Mae!! shes very cute!! here are some fun new pictures!
shes just as sweet as can be!! she reminds me a lot of rosie. which actually makes things a lot harder than i thougth they were going to be. with rosie gone, i didnt think about her as much, (i hate to say it) but now that theres another dog in the house, its hard to not compare her to rosie. i always said that rosie was the perfect dog, and that no dog could ever replace her, and maizey isnt replacing her, but i just wish she was moooreee like her. augh, i dunno its hard to explain.
anyway, shes very cute and just wants to be loved. she was kinda neglected for the first 3 years of her life, then she went into a foster home. after about 3 weeks, she was adopted, but the women who adopted her fell terminally ill after 5 months, and died, so maizey went back to her foster home, shes been there for 2 weeks, and now shes with us! so shes bounced around a lot, and hopefully now we can give her a good home.
she still needs some training, and we really need to work with her, but i think in time she'll come out of her shell.
