and was walking to go clock in and i walked around the corner and he was standing there talking to some girl i didnt know and another girl that he works with

I would be the bigger person. Respond, but I wouldn't do it over text. Maybe call him, even if you have to leave a voicemail. Just be like 'I was only saying hi to MY friends, I'm not stealing anyone.'

I agree with rachel. I think if you are going to respond it shouldn't be over facebook. It may not come out how you want it too. Calling is a good idea. In my opinion I think he was being a little girl by texting you, but that's just me.
