Brownie, one of my dogs, has breast cancer. We took her to the vet for a rabies shot and I insisted on showing the vet these lumpy things she's got on her. They've been there for ages but mother has always said they're sebaceous cists like Princess, one of our other dogs, has. Well, they're not. It's so hard to lose a pet or see it suffer. I can relate to what you're feeling and am keeping my fingers crossed for Brownie and you. *sends hugs*

I don't think there is anything quite so worrying as a sick anything and a pet that's unable to talk or communicate that something is wrong is fairly well at the top of my list, be it human or thinks it's human but looks a bit strange.

I hope all goes well and that the lumps turn out to be benign (ie just lumps, not more sinister).

It's worrying, upsetting and you feel just as drained as you would if the sick family member was walking and talking on two legs instead of four.
